St. Luke’s Seniors Community Kitchen gets a visit from Local MPP Effie Triantafilopoulos

This past Tuesday, our dedicated team of senior cooks prepared another delicious and healthy lunch with the expert guidance of Culinary Nutrition Expert Melissa Torio. They were joined by Oakville-North Burlington MPP Effie Triantafilopoulos and nearly a dozen guests, all of whom enjoyed the meal together.

The Honourable Ms. Triantafilopoulos congratulated the group and presented them with a certificate recognizing the Government of Ontario’s funding of this program. We and all our participants are grateful for the Government’s support through the Seniors’ Community Grant.

We hope you will join us this coming Tuesday at 11:30 am to share the group’s next meal. Invite your friends and family!

Are you a senior who is interested in cooking? Registration for cooks in the January (Winter) session will be announced in the coming weeks!

First Session: Tuesdays from November 5 – December 3; 9:30 am – 12:15 pm; Lunch at 11:30
