St. Luke’s Invites You to Three Special Christmas Services

Dear friends,

As we move through the Season of Advent, we are excited to invite you to three very special Christmas services for people of all ages, hosted at St. Luke’s!

As you know, this year’s Christmas services will look different due to the health and safety regulations to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We will hold only one in-person worship service on Christmas Eve at 5:00 pm, focused especially on families and young people. For everyone’s safety, parishioners who attend in person are asked to wear masks and maintain physical distance in accordance with Halton bylaws. There will be no in-person reception afterward.

Due to limitations on capacity and physical distancing requirements, it is very important that all parishioners who want to attend sign up as soon as possible. The sanctuary’s capacity is 37 people – however, if more people wish to attend, we can set up some seating in the Community Hall for worshipers to participate in the service via a video link. The total capacity of our building during COVID is 50 people. For those who cannot attend, the service will also be streamed via Zoom.

Later on Christmas Eve, we will also host a unique Lessons and Carols Service online starting at 9:30 pm via Zoom, featuring the parishes of St. Aiden’s, St. Cuthbert’s and St. Simon’s, as well as members of the Chinese Anglican Mission. Members of all four parishes will contribute music and lessons to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and we hope you will be there!

Then on Christmas Day, we will hold a service at 10:30 am, which you may join in person or via Zoom. We hope to see you all at one or more of these exciting services.
