Jody Balint to be Ordained a Deacon!

St. Luke’s new Pastoral Associate Jody Balint will be ordained a Deacon at Christ’s Church Cathedral in Hamilton this Sunday, October 20 at 4:00pm. Your prayers and presence are invited for Jody and the other deacons – Michael Coren, Judy Steers, Ann Van der Berg and Fran Wallace – as they prepare for their ordination.

Bishop Susan Bell will be the ordaining bishop and celebrant. Archdeacon Suzanne Craven will be the preacher. An informal reception follows the service. All are welcome to attend this exciting event in the life of our diocese! Learn more about the event on the Diocesan website.

We also ask for your prayers for the ordinands as they begin their new chapter in their ministry. Jody will begin her ministry at St. Luke’s later in November.
